Alan C. Milstein is a nationally recognized litigator
in the areas of insurance law, products liability, bioethics and
clinical trials litigation. Mr. Milstein attended the University
of Maryland where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975
and the University of Kansas where he received his Masters Degree.
He received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1983 with honors from
Temple University School of Law where he was a member of the Board
of Editors of Temple University Law Review. In recent cases, Mr.
Milstein has represented the family of a young man killed in a
gene therapy experiment, subjects in clinical trials at research
facilities, Parkinson’s patients seeking access to an experimental
drug, a church diocese in an action against its insurance company
for a steeple collapse, an owner of a luxury hotel damaged in
a hurricane, a large manufacturing company whose insrance company
refused coverage in a personal injury action, a college athlete
seeking early entry into the NFL, and jockeys in an action against
their guild. He is a listed member of Who's Who in American Law
and New Jersey Super Lawyers. Mr. Milstein is admitted to the
Bar of the State of New Jersey, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
the State of New York, the Court of Federal Claims and the Federal
District Court in Washington D.C. Mr.
Milstein has lectured extensively on fire litigation, on bioethics
in clinical trials, and on sports law.
Mr. Milstein has been invited to make presentations on bioethics
