David Silverman's focus is on the business, tax and other financial interests of the firm's clients. Mr. Silverman's primary areas of concentration are business organization and structural planning (including non-profit organizations, as well as for-profit corporate and pass-through entities), commercial transactions (including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, etc.), taxation, contracts and general business representation. He also has significant experience in the related areas of estate planning, real estate, health-care, lending and other secured transactions (including factoring and equipment leasing), labor, construction, ERISA and other benefit and retirement plans, intellectual property and bankruptcy. Mr. Silverman earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration at Arizona State University, his Juris Doctorate Degree at Temple University School of Law, and his Masters at Law Degree in Taxation at New York University School of Law. Mr. Silverman is a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and District of Columbia Bar and, in addition to those State courts, is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit and the U.S. Tax Court. He is also a member of the American, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations.
