Darshan Patel is Of Counsel in the Firm’s Trusts and Estates and Tax Planning Groups, where he counsels individuals, families, and fiduciaries on complex estate, gift, and income tax matters. With an LL.M. in Taxation and a background spanning both legal and financial institutions, Darshan brings a nuanced and strategic approach to planning, administration, and compliance across a broad range of client needs.
Darshan’s practice spans the design and implementation of essential and sophisticated estate plans, often integrating tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, business succession planning, and charitable giving vehicles. He works closely with clients and their advisory teams to align legal structures with long-term personal and financial goals.

Prior to joining the Firm, Darshan practiced in the Trusts and Estates Group at a prominent national law firm. He also served in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Monmouth County and worked in the trust department of a major financial institution.
Outside the office, Darshan enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife. He is actively involved with BAPS Charities and volunteers at BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, New Jersey.
