John Lolio, Jr. is a shareholder who heads up the Firm’s Estates and Trusts Group. He has significant experience in all aspects of estate planning and administration including: trust and estate planning, business succession planning, gift and charitable planning, probate, estate and trust administration, fiduciary taxation, elder law, non-profit organizations, private foundations and guardianships.

John is adept at preparing sophisticated wills and trusts for high-net-worth clients. He understands that for clients to achieve their goals and wishes, fully integrated plans are a must. To that end, he works closely with clients’ financial advisors and accountants.

In addition, John helps executors and trustees. He knows they are often thrust into these complex roles without realizing they have become fiduciaries with heavy legal responsibility. Mr. Lolio guides them to make sure they properly perform their duties. He also prepares and files federal and state inheritance/estate tax returns in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. In addition, he advises fiduciaries on, and helps them navigate through, IRS and state audits.

A frequent lecturer before numerous professional and business organizations, including the National Business Institute and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. John also serves on the Board of Directors, and is an officer, of several private foundations. In his personal time, John likes to fish, swim, farm and spend time with grandchildren and family.
