On January 3, 2024, Ross J. Switkes was appointed to a newly established Chapter 11 Rules Committee (the “Committee”) by the Honorable Michael B. Kaplan, Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, District of New Jersey.  The Committee, comprised of bankruptcy practitioners from both New Jersey and international firms, will review and recommend changes to existing procedures and rules relating to Chapter 11 cases in the District of New Jersey. 

Ross is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Insolvency, & Workouts Department and also currently serves as the Chair of the Lawyers Advisory Committee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey; a two-way conduit between the bankruptcy bar and the Board of Judges.
