Our labor and employment group counsels clients regarding rapidly changing laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, COBRA), informs and manages personnel through policy craftmanship, wrongful termination and discrimination claims, as well as addresses challenges related to employment agreements.
The Firm's Labor and Employment Group handles an array of critical matters for our client companies.
- We counsel our clients on how various--and rapidly changing--laws and regulations impact their business. These include the federal Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, COBRA, and similar statutes in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
- We help clients more effectively inform and manage their personnel by crafting concise policies that align with current law.
- We advise clients with respect to wrongful termination and discrimination claims, and represent them before state and federal agencies (including the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission) and in the courts.
We also address issues relating to employment agreements, working closely with the Firm's Business Services Group.
